Design Codes

The fixed vocabulary every KARSIAN form must resolve within.

Planes

Each object is composed of planes that meet at defined angles. Curves are permitted only where they serve the transition between two planes.

Edges

Adjacent surfaces are finished differently — mirror against satin — so the eye finds the edge without a drawn line.

Negative space

Openings are treated as material. A void is measured with the same care as a solid.
